 Wheelchair Hire service for Frome, Wells, Shepton Mallet and surrounding areas.

 Prices only £10 for a day

£25 per week

(only £3.57 a day)

 

Longer hire will be subject to negotiation with special rates included.

The Wheelchairs we hire out are Dash Lite models which are light weight, compact and will fit in most vehicles.

Attendant propelled version has brakes and removable sides plus many other very useful features making it ideal for most people. Self Propelled version is also available with removable back wheels. 

Weight Limit of 18 stone (115 kg)

 

 TERMS OF HIRE

 

Any wheelchair will be inspected by the hirer and  agree/sign they are happy with the condition of the  wheelchair when the hire takes place.

 

Any fault of the wheelchair whilst in the hirer’s possession will be replaced or fixed free of charge unless the wheelchair shows signs of miss use. The hirer then will be liable for the cost of fixing/replacing the wheelchair.

Wheelchairs can be hired from 10.30am and must be  returned by 4.30pm on any weekday. Weekend hiring will be from Friday to Monday. We will be unable to offer a Saturday hire service. Special rates will apply over longer periods and an option to purchase the hired wheelchair at a special rate after the hire has finished.

Any wheelchair that has not been returned on the date agreed between the hirer and Oakville Care Centre will occur a late payment fee unless the hire has been extended by contacting us before the date of return.

Any wheelchair that has been hired must remain with the hirer at all times, if the wheelchair is stolen whilst in the hirers care they are liable for the cost for a replacement wheelchair. Whilst not in use please store the wheelchair in a dry secure location.

If a wheelchair needs to be delivered before the hire takes place please contact us for further details, a small delivery charge may be requested on delivery due to fuel costs.
